Their safety, health insurance and goodwill are crucial to the success of your business. Having them cooperate with you in protecting their safety and health not only keeps them healthy-it makes your task easier. Post your policy on worker basic safety and health next to the OSHA Workplace Poster where all employees can easily see it. Hold a gathering with all employees to communicate your basic safety and health plan, and discuss your goals for security and health.

Make sure that your support is noticeable by getting personally mixed up in activities that are part of your protection and health program. For example, personally review all accident and inspection reviews and ensure that follow-up occurs when needed. Ensure that you, your managers and your supervisors follow all safety requirements that connect with all employees, if you are only within an area briefly even. If, for instance, you need a hard hat, safety glasses and/or safety shoes in an area, wear them yourself if you are in that certain area.
